About Drinkmonger

Drinkmonger is an independent wine and spirits retailer established in 2011 following the huge success of our sister business, Royal Mile Whiskies. We have two neighbourhood shops where you can come and visit us in Bruntsfield, Edinburgh and Pitlochry, Highland Perthshire. Both of our shops are run by a vibrant team of wine and spirits enthusiasts who are always on hand to provide personal recommendations and guide you to the perfect bottle.

We seek out unique wines and brilliant spirits from around the world to share with our customers and we make sure that when you shop with us, you have a really good time. From great-value wines selected by our expert buyers to rare and unusual grape varietals and expressions, we have a bottle for every type of wine lover. Alongside hundreds of wines, we also have a broad range of specialist spirits such as whisky, gin and rum, essential cocktail ingredients and craft beers.

Our Stores

Drinkmonger Edinburgh

Located in Bruntsfield and in close proximity to Haymarket, our Drinkmonger Edinburgh branch offers the city’s best mixed wine and spirits offering. If you are in Edinburgh, please do stop by as we are often hosting events – from craft beer samplings on Fridays to wine fairs and events hosted by our sister brand, Royal Mile Whiskies.

Led by the highly experienced Rom Gueret and supported by Huwgh, our Bruntsfield team are always delighted to welcome new and regular faces to our shop. Our “Fine Wine” Room in Bruntsfield is a real treat for wine lovers, as it holds a treasure trove of rare and sought-after wines and vintage Champagnes for special occasions.

Drinkmonger Pitlochry

Located in beautiful Highland Perthshire, our Drinkmonger Pitlochry branch holds an equally beautiful selection of wine and spirits for local residents and holidaymakers. Pitlochry is a wonderful village, home to many exciting events including the Enchanted Forest – if you’re travelling up or down the A9 we would love for you to pop in and visit.

Led by the incredibly knowledgeable Lesley Shaw and supported by Ian Robertson, our Pitlochry team offer a friendly welcome to our shop and are always delighted to talk to you about our range and help you find the bottle to suit your occasion. An avid rum enthusiast, Lesley is responsible for setting up our incredibly popular “Rum Room” which has made quite a few appearances on our social media!
