Appleton Estate 12 Year Old Rare Casks

Appleton Jamaican rum, distilled in a combination of pot and column stills, and aged in high quality Bourbon casks for 12 years in Jamaica. This tropical ageing makes for a full flavoured rum. Joy Spence, their Master Blender, selects the best casks of Appleton 12, and blends these to create this Appleton Estate 12 Year Old Rare Cask.

Staff Tasting Notes

Nose –  Lime and sweet bananas, ginger, allspice and a hint of chilli. Nutmeg then gingersnap biscuits.

Palate –  Chocolate, dreid fruits - dense texture with grapes, dark chocolate and pecan nuts. Finish : Toffee, then more citrus rind and vegetal notes. Desserts - sponges and biscuits.
