Ardbeg 10 Year Old

The excellent combination of bourbon casks and Ardbeg's signature peated spirit makes this a classic whisky that should be on every peat freak's wish list. This expression was first released in 2000, a few years after the distillery was reviived by Glenmorangie and is still going strong.

Staff Tasting Notes

Nose – Exceptional balance and depth, toffee and chocolate, sweetness and cinnamon spice, followed by medicinal phenols. Sea spray and smoked fish, hickory and coffee. A complicated nose.

Palate – A dash of sweetness to begin with, followed by a peaty note, tobacco and espresso coffee. Treacle sweetness and liquorice.
