A plastic packaging free zone
It takes a minimum of 6 years for the blue agave plant to be mature enough to harvest to make tasty tequila. This giant cactus looking plant (it is a succulent, rather than a cactus) is then mashed for the precious juice, fermented and distilled. It is quite a bit of work to get to distillation, but it is worth it for the complex, salt, sour, sweet flavours that come forth. Arette is produced in one of the oldest distilleries in the region, and this bottling is rested for an additional 6 months before bottling.
