Artist Blend Scotch Whisky By Compass Box

One could argue that Compass Box reinvented blended whisky. Their Artist Blend is a fine introduction to their carefully selected and married spirits, which create a range of fantastic blends. This particular blend is comprised of 46% fruity and perfumed Lowland Grain whisky; 17% malty Northern Highland Single Malt whisky; and 9% full and meaty Speyside Single Malt whisky. These spirits come from a selection of ex-bourbon barrels, Palo Cortado sherry-seasoned butts, and French oak casks.

Staff Tasting Notes

Nose – Sweet apple notes, pears, toffee notes, vanilla and banoffee pie coming through.

Palate – Toffee apples, raisins, fruit salad and some cinnamon. More apple pie, nutty notes, brown sugar and over time. One of the best blends we have in stock at the moment.
