Azienda Uggiano Sangiovese Syrah Il Sanzio 2022

With 100 hectares of hillside Tuscan vineyards, Uggiano produce well priced, classic reds. Sangiovese from northern Chianti, blended with a small amount (15%) Syrah from the Chianti Classico region. The Syrah was aged in French oak barriques for 9 months prior to blending.

Official Tasting Notes
Pure fresh red fruits on the nose with notes of redcurrant and morello cherries. The palate has ripe plum and bramble notes along with bright red cherry fruit. Supple, structured tannins and balancing acidity give a full finish.
