Balvenie 14 Year Old Caribbean Cask

William Grants, the owners of Balvenie Distillery, commission their own Rum to be distilled for the sole purpose of ensuring a consistant and regular supply of quality rum casks with which they can use to mature both Balvenie and Glenfiddich. As you would expect, this 14 Year old displays a little more sweetness than it's stablemate the 12 Year Old Doublewood.

Official Tasting Notes

Nose – Rich, sweet and creamy toffee on the nose combines with fruity notes.

Palate – Vanilla and sweet oak notes, fruitiness and treacle over time.
