Benromach 15 Year Old

The 15 year old release of Benromach's lovey medium peated whisky. This is a little less smoky than it's younger sibbling the10 year old and also a little fruitier and waxier now that the casks are imparting more of their infulence.

Official Tasting Notes

Nose – Sherry aromas, vanilla pods, zesty orange notes, and spicy ginger complemented by delicate chamomile and a menthol note.

Palate – Luscious rich fruit cake notes, stewed plum, red apple skin with a sharp edge of kiwi. With water there is charred oak, tangerine notes, plum and nectarine.
