Bowmore 12 Year Old

Having been established almost two and a half centuries ago and one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland, Bowmore produces a classicially smoky Islay malt balanced by a fresh fruitness. The Bowmore peating level is in the medium range compared to some of its more powerfully peated neighbours and as a result is a gentler introduction to the iconic flavour profile of the Islay malts.

Official Tasting Notes
Lemon and honey, followed by a smokiness on the nose. The palate has more heather honey and a gentle smoke.
