Broc Cellars Vine Starr Zinfandel 2016 75cl
In 2006 Chris Brockway started his own wine label from a humble industrial Unit in Berkley with a focus on making wines from organic or biodynamic fruit in a very natural fashion. Now, in slightly larger premisses, he tries try to continue this practice using minimal intervention, in an effort to let the grapes speak for themselves. Grapes are pitch forked whole-cluster into the fermenters, fermentation is allowed to happen spontaneously, and all wines are basket pressed, with little or no sulphur used until bottling. This style of winemaking produces some unique wines with great complexity and edginess.
