Bruichladdich 2014 8 Year Old Islay Barley

Produced using Barley harvested in 2013 from 8 different Islay farms, this version of Bruichladdich's Islay Barley is an outstanding expression of terrior. It was distilled in 2014 and spent at least 8 years maturing in a combination of first fill bourbon casks, second fill wine casks , and sherry butts.

Official Tasting Notes
A cereal-forward single malt with notes of apricot and peach, malty digestive biscuit, and a hint of fresh grass. A subtle maritime note also lingers, nodding to the whisky’s all Islay harvest, distillation and maturation.
