A cracking whisky and despite the age not heavily dominated by the sherry casks. There's a sweet fruitiness and complexity that comes through here that makes for an extremely moreish dram.

Staff Tasting Notes

Nose – Rich, strong toffee notes, with brandied cherries. With a bit of time their is notes of treacle, chocolate and toffee donuts.

Palate – A chewy, toffee'd mouthfeel, with chocolate, coffee and orange notes. With water, there is a little more pepper and spice. The finish has toffee fudge, vanilla custard and the tiniest hint of smoke
