Caol Ila 18 Year Old

Caol Ila is the largest distillery on Islay and one of the largest in Scotland. A large proportion of it's output is sadly no longer matured on Islay but taken to the central belt. The extra years on the 18 year old make this whisky a slightly mellower dram than a lot of other Islay whiskies.

Official Tasting Notes
A rich warm nose, with peaches, herby notes and a whiff of smoke. Spicy notes on the palate, with clove oil, more spice and a luscious texture.
