Anejo Tequila 40% 70cl

Casamigos means house of friends, which refers to the founding of this tequila company by close friends George Clooney, Rande Gerber and Mike Meldman. They went through hundreds of samples until they found the right tequila for them. The agave pina's (the base crop of tequila and mezcal) are slow roasted for 72 hours, before being mashed, and fermented using a special yeast blend for 80 hours, then distilled. The extra time spent roasting the pinas in a traditional brick oven and fermenting are for extra flavour. After distillation it is then rested for 2 months before being bottled.
