Alsace Pinot Gris tends to have more buttery notes, fruit tart notes and spice than the more commonly spotted, lighter, fresher Pinot Grigio (they are the same grape, but where they are grown, and the production make all the difference). Grown on the sun soaked Grand Cru Brand vineyard, this is a very versatile wine. It can be enjoyed with everything from roast chicken to sea bass, to a vegetable tagine.

Official Tasting Notes A butter honey nose, with a dusting of exotic spice. The palate has notes of butterscotch and warm spice, with flavours of freshly baked ripe apricot tart. The nicely-weighted mid palate is balanced by mouthwatering lime acidity. Excellent value.
