Champagne Demiere Es'Sens Blanc Munier Brut NV

Full-bodied and fruit forward, with a fresh and sharp attack which gives way to a satisfyingly fleshy mouthfeel with notes of peach blossom and apricot. A great example of what quality Pinot Meunier can do.

The Demiere family have been growing grapes in Fleury la Rivière, Vallée de la Marne, since 1936. The fruit was originally sold to négociants until 1966 when Jack Demiere accquired the equipment to begin making champagnes in earnest.

This Brut Champagne is 100% Pinot Meunier from calcareous limestone soils in Fleury la Rivière. A base wine vinified from the 2015 vintage, without malolactic fermentation, was blended with older reserve wines and bottled for secondary fermentation. The wine remainned in bottle on lees until disgorgement in late 2021.

Official Tasting Notes
The robe is gold with pink reflections with a fine mousse. The fine nose develops delicate aromas of fresh fruit. The attack on the palate is lively, then persists with a lovely fruity length reminiscent of the nose. It is a tender wine with a nice bouquet. Refreshing and very elegant, it will be appreciated without complex simply in the evening, but also as a gastronomic accompaniment.
