This white wine is made from Assyrtiko grapes grown in the Macedonian region of Greece.
Food Pairingseafood, grilled fish, and fresh salads
Staff Tasting Notes Citrus yellow in appearance with golden specks. A very refined and rounded aroma filled with a volcanic flintiness, honeysuckle, dried apricot and green apples. On the palate, very complex with high acidity, grapefruit flesh and yet a creamy mouthfeel of honeydew, ripe lemon and brioche flavours, finishing with a subtle undertow of zingy minerality. Unlike the classic sharp Santorini Assyrtiko, this Macedonian version is described as more textured and earthy due to the use of Acacia barrels in addition to stainless steel.
