Chateau Musar 1999 75cl

The Lebanese have been making wine for 6000 years, give or take, so they should be pretty good at it by now. When you think of Lebanese wine... and who doesn't, you straight away think of Chateau Musar. Due to their rather unorthodox style of winemaking many aspects of their wines that may be considered faults for other wines, are assets for Musar. Each vintage is very different from last yet all have the unmistakable Musar character. The 1999 is considered as one of the best vintages of the 1990s. Rich and opulant this wine is sitting pretty now, but will cellar for many years to come.
