A great example of why Christian Drouin is considered on of the best Calvados producers in the Pays d'Auge; this 1990 vintage is a beautiful balance of fresh orchard fruit notes, some deeper notes of nuts, caramelised apples, and pastry, with delicate florals dancing between them. Christian Drouin Calvados are produced fully in-house, from caring for their own orchards to harvest, fermentation, distillation, and maturation in carefully selected casks.
