Flaming Heart #7 2022 Release 48.9% 70cl

This is the seventh edition of Flaming Heart from blending artisans, Compass Box. Flaming Heart is a celebration of the union of heavy peat and French oak and begins with single malts by Laphroaig, Talisker, and Caol Ila, among others. It also contains a Highland Malt blend which was pre-married in heavily toasted French oak barrels, and then rounded out with remnants of previous batches of Flaming Heart and Compass Box's Peat Monster, and 15th anniversary Nectar release. According to the producers, the 2022 version has a deeper fruitiness than previous batches, and is a whisky meant for "friends, great music, and not taking life too seriously."
