If you are looking to get into mezcal, and you like lots of interesting flavours, this is a great bottle to start with. The agave pinas are roasted for 3-8 days over 8 different woods (Quebrachi, Huamuchil, Pitayo, Pochotle, Tepeguaje, Copal Tepomaco, Pino, Encino) to give intricate charred notes, mixed in with vegetal notes and agave sweetness. It is then distilled in small copper stills.
Official Tasting Notes It has a nose of fruit aromatics, a hint of honey, vanilla and roast agave; the palate offers ginger, cinnamon, burnt sandalwood, banana and tangerine, with a long, soft finish.
