This red wine is made from Pinot Noir grapes, which are grown in Burgundy, France. The Meix Gobillon estate dates from 1870, found in a narrow street in the old part of Ladoix. Vineyards here are planted mainly with Pinot Noir and traditional practices are followed to create wine on this 16.5 hectare parcel.
Food PairingThis wine pairs well with roast duck
Official Tasting Notes It's been said that this wine offers up a full nose of strawberry and raspberry with sun-dried cherry, a pinch of spice in velvety garden with flowers. Dry, moderate acidity, good tannins with some energy, middle plump body, taste is elegant and rounded, red berries nice lines of structure with small bitterness lengthy closing.
