This red wine is made from Pinot Noir grapes, which are grown in Burgundy, France. The Clos Saint-Denis vineyard is located in the Côte de Nuits region of Morey-Saint-Denis, famous for producing high-quality Pinot Noir wines. Since 1936, Domaine Georges Lignier et Fils has managed this 6.6-hectare vineyard. Careful cultivation ensures that the vines flourish in this limestone-clay soil.
Food Pairing Roasted duck, Mushroom risotto, Grilled lamb chops, Beef bourguignon, Aged cheeses
Official Tasting Notes The Clos Saint-Denis has an intense red colour and a complex bouquet, with a pleasant opening in the mouth and a fine balance between sweetness and acidity. This Grand Cru, representative of the Morey style, is distinguished by its finesse and has excellent ageing potential, with the best vintages being able to rest in the bottle for up to 25 years without losing their freshness. A wine that best expresses the unique qualities of this prestigious vineyard.
