1942 Tequila 38% 70cl

Released to celebrate the first distillation of Don Julio Tequila in 1942. This is a whisky drinker's tequila, as it has been aged in oak for 2.5 years, which gives it plenty of rich, oaky notes. Bear in mind too, that the base crop (the agave) has been growing in the field for 10 years at a minimum at Don Julio before any distillation or barrel ageing can take place. It takes a long time to make a good bottle of tequila.
