Briottet moved from the wine trade to liqueurs and aperitifs in 1836 and has had six generations of the family business making it one of the best names and ranges available. The Amber Cacao liqueur uses the same maceration and distillation of whole cocoa beans as its clear liqueur counterpart, but adds a dash of bourbon vanilla for a little added sweetness and depth.
