Edmond Briottet Vieux Marc de Bourgogne 43% 70cl
The Briottet family began business in 1836 as wine traders, but they soon discovered that their aperitifs and digestifs were becoming a very important part of their business, and slowly changed to just focusing on this. Marc de Bourgogne is a pomace brandy made from distilled pulp, skins, and stems (also known as marc) from the Cote de Nuits and Cote de Beune regions in Burgundy. After distillation, it is aged for 10 years in French Oak casks. Made in a similar way to grappa.
