El Dorado 15 Year Old Rum

With so many different types of distillation equipment under one roof, it gives Demerara distillers the tools to create a variety of rums. El Dorado 15 is a combination of Port Mourant wooden pot stills, Versaille Single wooden pot stills, copper Coffey Diamond stills and wooden Coffey Enmore stills. All these different types of rum create intricacy.

Staff Tasting Notes

Nose – Agricultural (but not off-putting), burnt sugar, Werther's Originals, dried apricots and heavy molasses.

Palate – Sweet and light, with floral notes, brewed cola, ginger and a good balance.
