El Jimador Reposado Tequila

This reposado tequila is 100% blue agave, fermented with wild yeast for some more interesting flavours. It is then aged for 2 months in white oak casks. Great to try after the blanco, to see the difference oak ageing makes. Some of the hardest working people in the spirits business, Jimadors farm that most pesky of crops, the agave. It takes a long time to grow, and is a pain to harvest, but the tequila and mezcal it produces are worth it.

Official Tasting Notes

Nose – Buttery, cooked agave with notes of almond, vanilla and spices.

Palate – Rich, toasted agave with hints of caramel, marzipan and a dash of smoke.
