Fernando de Castilla Antique Fino

Based in the centre of Jerez, Fernando De Castilla have partnerships with some of the best vineyards to source their grapes. This is their Antique Fino, which has spent 9 years ageing under flor in the solera system. The flor is the layer of yeast that gathers, and the sherry gains complexity ageing under it.

Official Tasting Notes
Rich and long with greater depth and complexity than a standard Fino - as such Jan refers to this as his 'Winter' Fino! Appealing salty tang and a long citrus finish. Very fresh and pure.
