Antique Oloroso 50cl

An excellent bottle to convert people who are unsure about sherry, particularly sherry cask loving whisky drinkers. Oloroso sherry is generally made from heavier wine, which instead of being aged under the flor (the yeast) like a fino sherry, is fortified at base and aged in barrel. It will be added to their solera system, which is where older and younger wines are continuously aged. You may have 50-year-old wines in a solera system, being constantly topped up by younger and middle aged wines. The average age of this Oloroso is 20 years old.
