From the first rum distillery founded in Fiji, this is a column still rum, made with molasses from a local heritage cane varietal. After a year ageing in American oak on the island, the rum spent a decade in ex-bourbon casks in Scotland.
Staff Tasting Notes A rum with strong unique Fijian character. On the nose; toasted banana and musty rye bread counteracted by elegant lemon and orange zest with honey and vanilla. On the palate; warm ripe oranges alongside pepper over gentle honey on salty bread and butter with a rich creamy vanilla roundness. A lingering spice and pepper finish topped with orange blossom honey.
