Glen Moray 2008 13 Year Old Warehouse 1 Manzanilla Finish

A combination of four casks of 13 year old, fruity and spicy Glen Moray, finished in Manzanilla sherry casks. These casks give some of the fruity from the sherry, plus some of the salinity that Manzanilla is known for, and complexity too. A UK exclusive, one of 1240 bottles.

Official Tasting Notes
Nose Initially very soft, evoking sweet ripe pears, green apples and fresh cut grass. Lively and vibrant, with background hints of camomile tea. Palate – Clean fruit gives way to drier oak spice. A luxurious mouthfeel leads back around to the herbal characteristics first introduced on the nose. Finish – Long, lingering and savoury, with characteristic Manzanilla salt accents.
