Glencadam Reserva Andalucia

Glencadam is a less well-known single malt, with nice bright fruity notes, including apples and raisins. This is their Andalucía Reserva, which highlights the Oloroso sherry casks from Jerez (in Andalucía) which are used to finish this whisky. These sherry casks add layers of Christmas cake to this fruity Highland malt.

Official Tasting Notes

Nose – Initial aromas of ripe soft fruits, soft nougat and oaky vanilla with a background of freshly made fudge.

Palate – Smooth and creamy with sultanas, orchard fruits and toffee apple sweetness.

Finish – Long lasting and silky smooth with honey, muscovado sugar and green tea lingering on the tongue.
