Glenkinchie 12 Year Old

The Lowland whiskies as a region are often overlooked by malt fans. As one of the oldest of only a handful of Lowland distilleries, Glenkinchie produces a lighter spirit compared to the other regional styles, though no less interesting for it.

Official Tasting Notes

Nose – A country garden's worth of flowers, fresh notes and grassy notes. With a bit of time, more floral notes, vanilla, toasted oak, and a scones with clotted cream note.

Palate – A nice, soft start, a bit like custard, before more floral notes start to come through. Herbal notes, and a drying nuttiness on the finish.
