Glenmorangie Signet

The Signet from Glenmorangie does not carry an age statement but we do know that it contains some of Glenmorangie's oldest stock, it is a full, rich, velvety expression thanks to the use of a very specific type of malted barley. Bottled at a healthy 46% ABV this is a luxurious, indulgent complex dram.

Staff Tasting Notes

Nose – Cinnamon and sweet vanilla appear at first with a distinct richer prune and burnt sugar character behind.

Palate – Sweet at first, with more dried fruits revealing themselves as the palate progresses. The darker fruits give way to complex notes reminiscent of lattes and cappuccinos. A very creamy texture overall with complimentary chocolate and some citrus notes. It has a long finish, filled with cocoa and cream. Rice pudding was found at one point with more oranges and some coffee present.
