The epitome of the Speyside style and therefore a lovely dram. Touches of spice, caramel and pastry notes and hints of fresh fruits. If you're looking for your fix of Speyside and fancy something a little different from the usual suspects you can't go far wrong with Glenrothes.

Staff Tasting Notes

Nose – Crème caramel, apple strudel and flapjacks - very luscious syrupy nose with hints of barely sugar, oats, vanilla and baked apple. Hint of dunnage warehouse. Gets fruitier with breathing - pineapple cubes, freshly squeezed limes. Nice firm oakiness like freshly polished oak tables

Palate – Chocolate orange, honey, baked apples. A nice oakiness that pleasantly grips the palate. Full flavoured but paradoxically light of body.

Finish – A very long finish. Fading oak spice & cinnamon, cloves. Pineapple cubes. Overall the 10 year old is Speyside in a nutshell. Glenrothes in a nutshell. A very enjoyable dram.
