Gutierrez Colosia Moscatel Soleado 37.5cl
This Bodega was founded where the river meets the sea in Puerto in 1838, and the Gutierrez Colosia family have owned it for four generations. Very few sherries are made from the Moscatel grapes, so its great to see the varietal shine in this sweet wine. The grape is normally grown on sandy coastal soils, and the bunches once picked are laid out in the sun for a few weeks to raisin to bring out their sweetness. The producers describe 'floral aromas of jasmine; orange blossom and honeysuckle in addition to citric notes of lime and grapefruit'.
