Kilchoman Sanaig

Kilchoman Sanaig is one of Kilchoman's more sherry cask influenced whiskies. While there are excellent sherry notes within this whisky, it still retains plenty of smoke. It is matured in a mixture of 70% sherry casks from Bodega Miguel Martin in Spain, and 30% Buffalo Trace bourbon casks. We are huge fans of this family run farm distillery on the western part of Islay.

Official Tasting Notes

Nose – Soft cooked fruits with caramel and vanilla.

Palate – Toffee, peat smoke and citrus with a lingering sweetness. A balanced mix of peat smoke, fruit and sweetness on the finish.
