Koskenkorva Salmiakki is a delicious liqueur made with the famous sweet and salty candy known as ‘salmiakki’ in Finnish. Rich and full-bodied flavor of salty liquorice. Most commonly enjoyed as a chilled shot but the sweet and salty combination works also well in various cocktails. Try mixing it with hot chocolate or milk-based drinks. Tip for after-ski: goes well along with beer! Did you know that when Koskenkorva Salmiakki was introduced to the Finnish market in 1990 it was banned shortly after by the government monopoly because it was selling too well!
