Mezcal 36% 70cl

Crafted from 100% Salmaina Agave, La penca is matured in white oak casks and bottled in hand-blown glass con gusano (with a worm, actually two of them!).  The agave is roasted rather than slow-cooked to caramelize the maguey sugars and lend smokiness to the mezcal.  The name La Penca is taken from the sabre like leaves that must be skillfully removed from the agave pina before roasting.
