Luxardo Sangue Morlacco 70cl
This cherry brandy from Luxardo is made from an infusion of Marasca cherry juice. The bottling is Luxardo's second speciality after their Maraschino Originale, and has been in production since 1821. The current name was adopted almost a century later, in 1919, after poet Gabriele D'Annunzio dubbed it Morlacco Blood, due to it's colour, referencing the Morlacco people who defended the Republic of Venice in the 17th and 18th centuries.
