Madre Mezcal is produced by a number of small, family-run distilleries in Oaxaca. This 100% Espadin Mezcal is produced by Carlos Blas and family, in Matatlan, and the family have been artisan mezcaleros since 1930.

Official Tasting Notes
A single varietal exploration that allows the full spectrum flavor of Espadin agave to shine through. The bright and earthy character of Espadin is complemented by a natural smokiness from the artisanal production process, creating a spirit that adds new levels of complexity to any cocktail.
