Bourbon 45% 70cl

The world-famous wax sealed bourbon. This is a wheated bourbon, meaning it is 51% corn, the main other grain in the mashbill being wheat rather than spicy rye. Wheat tends to bring in softer banana and sometimes chocolate notes. Fermented with their own house yeast strain that has been used for over 150 years (!), double distilled in copper stills and aged for between 6 and 7 years in light to medium char oak casks. The effort in production and time ageing shows in the taste, as it is one of the best well known bourbons out there.
