Miltonduff 1991 33 Year Old RMW Cask #4998

A single cask 33 year old Miltonduff, bottled by our sister shop Royal Mile Whiskies. When we tried this at a staff tasting, the general consensus was that it was a cracker.

One of 227 bottles, this is one of the lesser known Speyside distilleries, although we have always enjoyed the few bottlings of this single malt that have appeared on the market.

Staff Tasting Notes

Nose – An impressive nose with fresh orchard fruits then dried foliage, banana fritters and ice cream.

Palate – Certainly an 'old school' character with tropical fruits encompassed in a delightful texture.

Finish – A dry finish at first then more tropical notes before syrup and sweet ginger biscuits. A spectacular example of this distillery which celebrates its 200th year of production in 2024. Fans of Glen Grant, Scapa and Ben Nevis should take note.
