Montelobos Joven Mezcal

This Mezcal from Montelobos is made with 100% Espadin agave, which is a similar agave to the Blue Weber used for tequila. The agave is more heavily roasted in the process, and the overall product has more smoke, oily notes, and complex notes than your average tequila.

Official Tasting Notes

Nose – Damp earth, freshly cut grass, honey, citrus, asparagus and smoke.

Palate – Perfect balance between cooked and green maguey, nuts, herby notes and smoke.
