Monymusk 2000 22 Year Old Golden Cask

A single cask of 22 year old Jamaican rum from the Clarendon distillery (also referred to as Monymusk).

We cannot confirm the exact marque but know that it was pot distilled in September 2000. After 22 glorious years of maturation, the rum was ready. Expect delicious elegant tropical fruits, caramel and ginger spice.

Bottled from an ex-bourbon barrel at full strength, this distinctive rum is an extremely limited release of only 183 bottles.

Staff Tasting Notes

Nose – A grassy nose with warm plastic and mangos in the background at first which then gives way to mushy tropical puree. There's even a festive spice after a dash of water.

Palate – Sweet peaches, danish pastries and a subtle herbal note wrap up a deliciously elegant palate.

Finish – Long funky custard with nutmeg, caramel and ginger.
