Niepoort Quinta de Baixo Poeirinho 2018

Poeirinho' references the old name for the Baga grape variety and the Bairrada wines of the past. Light in clour, low in alcohol, this wine has great ageing potential. Dirk Niepoort has been something of a Portuguese wine innovator since the early 1990's, but with always an eye on quality.

Staff Tasting Notes
Cherries, brambles and spice, with a brooding and grippy backbone. Powerfully mineral, with refreshingly high acidity & fine, firm tannins.
