Nixta Corn Liqueur

Nixta Licor de Elote is a liqueur made at Abasolo distillery from heritage Cacahuazintle maize from the slopes of the Nevado de Toluca volcano. A combination of fresh Cacahuazintle sweetcorn and nixtamalised ripe kernels are macerated in quality maize distillate to incorporate the full breadth of Cacahuazintle's flavour into this curious liqueur.

Official Tasting Notes

Nose – Cornbread, toasted corn, vanilla and caramel.

Palate –  Notes of sweet corn perfectly balanced with toasted notes of roasted corn, vanilla and caramel.
