Old Pulteney Huddart

Distilled in Wick, in the far north of Scotland. Old Pulteney has always been considered to be a very high-quality malt, by blenders and single malt fans alike. Shorter, dumpier stills create a heavier spirit, that has oily notes, and a maritime character. Huddart has been aged in casks that previously contained smoky whisky, which adds a lovely smoke to Wick's golden malt.

Official Tasting Notes
This deep golden single malt brims with mellow wood smoke and burnt toffee on the nose with subtle peat fire notes. Honey and crisp green apple lead to freshly ground spices and smooth vanilla.
