Penny Blue VSOP Mauritian Rum

A single estate rum made from farm to bottle at the Medine distillery in Mauritius. Aged for a minimum of 4 years in American whiskey, bourbon and French oak cognac casks. As provenance becomes more and more important in the spirits world, it is great to see a farm to bottle rum producer, and at a very fair price. A rum for whisky drinkers in terms of flavour and style.

Official Tasting Notes

Nose – Marmalade, melon skin and cloves.

Palate – Soft and luxuriant with hints of glazed fruits, cedar wood and spices.
